CMS LTD (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC) design and engineering services across the Caribbean. This policy explains what information this website collects when you visit it, how it’s used, and who it’s shared with.
Information we collect
This website does not have visitor accounts, and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. The information it can collect is limited to the following:
- Standard server logs. Like virtually every website, our hosting provider automatically logs technical information for every visit — your IP address, browser/device type, the pages requested, and the date and time — for security and troubleshooting purposes. We do not use this data for marketing or profiling.
- Search queries. If you use the search box, your search term is included in the page URL to display results. It is not stored in a database or associated with you personally.
- Information you choose to send us directly. Buttons such as “Start a project” or “Apply for this role” open your own email application addressed to a member of our team. Anything you send that way — your name, contact details, CV, message content — goes directly to that recipient’s mailbox, the same as any other email you send. It is not collected or stored by this website itself.
- Files uploaded through the Assets page (if this internal file-sharing tool is currently in use on the site). Anything uploaded there is stored on our hosting so it can be shared or downloaded.
Cookies
Browsing the public site does not require accepting any cookies. WordPress, the software this site runs on, sets a small number of cookies only if you log in as an administrator (to keep you signed in); these are not used to track visitors.
Third-party services
A few outside services are involved in running this website:
- Google Fonts. This site loads typefaces from Google’s font service, which means your browser makes a direct request to Google’s servers to fetch them, sharing your IP address with Google as part of that request. Google’s own privacy policy governs that data.
- Hosting & DNS providers. Our hosting company and DNS provider process the standard technical/connection data described above as part of delivering this website to your browser.
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any other third party for marketing purposes.
Data retention
Standard server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period for security purposes and are not kept indefinitely. Files uploaded to the Assets tool, and any email correspondence, are retained for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose they were provided, or until you ask us to remove them.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — for example, a file you uploaded, or a CV you emailed to us. Contact us using the details below and we’ll respond promptly.
Children’s privacy
This website is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as the website changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
